| Travelling by Train The church is five minutes walk from Loughton Station, which is on the Central Line of the London Underground. To plan your journey to Loughton Station, please click here and use Transport for London's Journey Planner service. On arrival at the station, leave by the main exit and bear right, walking up past the bus stops to the roundabout. Cross over and walk to the top of Station Road (signposted 'Police Station'), passing Browns Vauxhall garage on your right. Turn right at the top into the High Road, and St. Mary's is on your right. Travelling by Bus St. Mary's is served by London Transport bus services 167 (operated by Docklands Minibuses) and 20 (operated by Arriva), as well as other local services. There is a bus stop directly opposite the church travelling Northbound (towards Debden) and a stop 25 metres away outside Barclays Bank travelling Southbound (towards Woodford/Buckhurst Hill/Chigwell). Travelling by Car The church has car parking facilities for approximately 25 cars on site, including disabled spaces. These are available for all main services and major events, and upon special request. Other parking is available in local side streets - particularly Station Road, Brook Road and Brooklyn Avenue (please check parking restrictions as many roads in the area prohibit parking between 2 and 3pm Monday to Friday). Epping Forest District Council Pay and Display facilities are available within 5-10 minutes walk of the church in Old Station Road, Clifton Road and Traps Hill. |
